Hi. How are you feeling today?

So it feels like this whole summer has been a break from  life and people. and next week i have to go back to it...and its not a very exciting prospect. because that means i have to wake up early, be on a football field 5 hours a day, and be around tons of people who have no clue who i really am...besides a really quiet girl. not to mention that i get to go back to being around the band directors and being sent home with sore arms and some more music to pass off. oh yah i just love band camp....well truthfully its actually really fun, especially since i'm an upperclassman now, but but its definetly not as enjoyable as sitting around, sleeping in, and hanging out with my friends. =) 

but oh well in 5 weeks i'll be marching around on a football field every friday night, with our drum line challenging the other drum line. i'll be playing the panther war chant over and over again...and i'll be doing the bunny hop with all my friends.....so i guess it wont be to bad! =)

so just as a very early invite to everyone out there. in 5 weeks(or something like that) you can come see the duncanville high school band march around the football field at half-time and we'll show you why we're state champs!....well hopefully!

p.s. we're playing flight of the bumblebees and an opera song (i think its the one from silience of the lamps...the movie about hannibal lector)...it should be great!

My rant about how what should have been!!!

yah i know i've only tagged 1 person but i didnt really want to tag someone who'd already been tagged. so yah. =)

so today i was thinking back in the day (u know like 100 years ago) it would have been cool to be an indian. well actually it wouldnt ahve been cool to be an indian 100 years ago cause nobody really treated them that well. but maybe i could be one from when the english just showed up and i could go crazy on them and tell them to get out of america so that we could have it all to ourselves. cause honestly native americans in the first place....u know cause their the real natives of this country, so when the KKK goes around talking about how white people are the 100% American Pure Bloods and how everyone else should die (or at least the black people) they have no right to be saying that because the Indians are the real Americans.....cause they had the land way before anyone else. The KKK is full of idiots anyway though! but seriously Jefferson should never have forced them out of their land and all our forefathers should have been more grateful to the people who showed them how to survive in america cause thats the whole reason all of the first villages didnt die. so yah i wish i could have been an indian (or native american) back then just so i could have shown the stupid and ungrateful english their place....well and so i could hunt buffalo, ride wild horses and live in a whole bunch of natural land in a teepee and just go through life like ur supposed to....but for now im just glad im irish and german instead of a desendant of all the ignorant people who came to america and claimed it for themselves. so although i do have to say it didnt turn out bad, it would have been better to be an indian.
